Burma’s pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi has told the BBC she is ready for talks with all groups to achieve national reconciliation.
A day after her release from house arrest, she said it was time to “sort out our differences across the table”.
Ms Suu Kyi also said she intended to listen to what the Burmese people and her international supporters wanted as she planned her next steps.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner has spent 15 of the past 21 years in detention.
World leaders and human rights groups have welcomed her release.
A true visionary she is. God please watch over her.

Christians are terribly persecuted in Burma and political events and instabilities often result in dire consequences for them.
I hope this thaw in relation to the release of Aung San Suu Kyi is not followed by a crackdown, when the opposition has come out of the woodwork. Part of the confidence the government has in this release is the iron grip the military maintains on all areas of life so all may not be what it seems.
We need to pray for Burma and in particular for the Christians including our brethren there in the Anglican Church of the Province of Myanmar.
